How far out should we book an auctioneer?

Six to nine months is comfortable for a spring gala, though we have rescued events with six weeks' notice. The earlier we start, the more we can shape the lots and the program rather than simply call them.

Do you travel outside Tampa?

Yes. We are based in Tampa and work the entire state of Florida, equipment included. Travel is quoted plainly as part of the proposal.

A flat fee, quoted after the goal call, based on the length of the program and what you need alongside the auctioneer. No commission on what your donors give.

We only have four live items. Is that enough?

Usually it is more than enough. Most rooms fatigue after six or seven lots, and the fund-a-need often out-earns the entire live auction.

Are you licensed and insured?

Our auctioneers are certified and licensed in the state of Florida, and we carry liability coverage. Certificates go to your venue on request.

Our Lead Auctioneer

John reads a room
before he even opens
his mouth.

Certified and licensed in the state of Florida, John has spent over twenty-five years in front of donors: schools, hospitals, conservation groups, foundations. He is an auctioneer and an emcee in the same breath, which is why the ask never feels like a sales pitch.

He works the whole state out of Tampa and manages the technical side himself, so the microphone carrying the ask is one he helped set up.
